After filling the ears of many with my regular whisky chatter, I found myself repeatedly being told ‘you should really start up a blog’, so here goes.

This really is a bit of a personal adventure, combining two things I’m pretty fond of – whisky and photography.  I hope to keep things pretty simple; cataloguing whiskies I buy, whiskies I taste, bars I visit, events I attend and the people I meet. To me, whisky is all about sharing a good time, so if someone else happens to read this and gets a bit of enjoyment out of it too, then all the better!

You’re probably not going to find any numerical ratings or fancifully whimsical tasting notes here, but you will find a whole lot of genuine opinions, stories, adventures, photos and good times! I hope I can keep this interesting and accessible to anyone and everyone.
